As to the underwater plasma cutting machine, there is a cutting worktable that water level in the container can raise and fall. When it begins to cut, the input gas valve opens and the fan fills air into ballonet; therefore, the water level rise up rapidly; when the water just submerge the steel plate, the pneumatic valve will close, and the water level keeps constant, the smoke and arc which generated during the cutting process will be absorbed by water. The drain tap will open as the cutting process finishes, the water level of ballonet will going down, it is convenient for operator to sign the mark and lay-off, this kind of dust-cleaning method is the best way to clean the duty in current marked; however, because the negative effect of water involved, its cutting speed, cutting ability, surface brightness and cleanness are declined at different extent compared with dry cutting. Comparing with dry cutting ,underwater plasma cutting consumes 15% more electricity, and the cost of manufacturing the waterbed is relatively high.
